Yesterday this men came talking to be me who was claiming to be a lifetime activist. Maybe he said the truth or maybe he just made it up, I don't know. The only thing I do know it that he was very good at criticising everything and everyone. When I told him I find some Belgium and Dutch pollitical parties fascist, he said they weren't fascist BUT extreem right wing. I have to admit I don't really see any difference between extreem right wing and fascist so I just said I didn't agree with him. For me fascisme is an extreem right wing movement without tollerance towarths nothing and no one wich uses extreem violent and inhumane methods to create a inhumane system.

He caried on and said that when I put extreem right wing parties with fascisme I create a grey zone, in wich the 'real' fascisme isn't obvious no more. I still din't get what he was trying to say because I always believed that that was how Hitler got big. He did get big because more and more people supported him. So that would mean that if more and more people in Europe are voting for parties with fascist ideas you have an uprising of fascism. 

What he was saying does diminish the upcoming problem whe have in the United States and in Europe. The problem of extreem racism and intollerance. If you look in the past of Europe and the USA, it has been like that before, so why deny it can get like that again? Internationaly it has always been like that and still is like that. Look at the international wars and arms trade we are involved with and look at our colonial past and the fact that we still exploit those countries until today.

After this men finaly left and stopped trying to persuade me fascism won't come back because there are only verry few 'real' fascist parties. I did realise he showed me the technique used in almost every western newspaper and other media. The technique of diminishing the problem, reducing it to almost no treath or nothing to wory about.

They use it in rape to. If 10 woman get raped only 9 of them are 'real' rapes. There will be questions asked and trown at people to decide or it is a real rape or a false accusation. Did the victim provoke it? Did the victim state obvious they didn't want it? Did the victim fight hard enough to stop it? This will diminish the actual numbers, so people won't take it as a real problem no more, after all, at least 90% of the claims are bogus.

So at least 90% of extreem right wing parties are not fascist. So we don't have to worry....?

I don't think so...

Be carefull! Next time someone uses this technique to diminish the problem you are talking about, an invironmental or social or pollitical problem, don't let them fool you!

If you think the problem is real, it probably is. No mather what the newspapers and people who believe the newspapers say to you!
